We are located at 423 W. Norton Avenue, Suite 111, Muskegon, Michigan 49444.  Please call us at (231) 733-6300 for our weekly office hours.  We meet the 4th Monday of the month at our office, 423 W. Norton Avenue, Suite 111 at 7:00 p.m. The public is welcome!  To contact us, click here.

As an affiliate of Right to Life of Michigan, we are a nonpartisan, nonsectarian, nonprofit organization of diverse and caring people united to peacefully protect the precious gift of human life from fertilization to natural death.

We strive to achieve the passage and ratification of a Human Life Amendment, to educate people on identified Right to Life issues, to motivate them to action, to encourage community support for the participation in programs and legislation that foster respect and protection for human life and to promote and support prolife candidates.

We work on the behalf of defenseless or vulnerable human beings, born and unborn, within our identified life issues of abortion, infanticide and assisted suicide.

Right to Life is Non-Partisan

We are not Democrats.  We are not Republicans.  We promote and support pro-life candidates and legislation within the limits prescribed by law for non-profit organizations.

Whether the candidate you support is a Democrat or a Republican, let them know you vote PROLIFE!  Together we can make a difference.  See information below on "Democrats for Life".

Record on Life

The promises of our Declaration of Independence are not just for the strong, the independent, or the healthy.   They are for everyone – including unborn children.  We are a society with enough compassion and wealth and love to care for both mothers and their children, to see the promise and potential in every human life.

-President George W. Bush

During his first week in office, President Bush reinstated the Mexico City Policy, which prevents tax funds from being given to organizations that perform and promote abortion overseas.  He threatened to veto an appropriations bill unless a provision overturning the policy was removed.

President Bush declared that federal funds will not be used for stem cell research that would require the destruction of human embryos.  His threat of a veto stopped an attempt in the U.S. Senate to provide funding for such research.

President Bush has stopped many anti-life initiatives by threatening vetoes – including proposals to allow abortion to be covered in federal employees’ health insurance plans, and allow abortions to be performed in U.S. military medical facilities and within the federal prison system.

The Bush Administration ruled that federally controlled substances cannot be used to assist suicides.  When the decision was overturned in federal district court, the Administration appealed the case.

President Bush has strongly backed a U.S. ban on human cloning and helped defeat a clone and kill proposal in 2001.

President Bush has helped win U.S. House approval of pro-life measures including the Child Custody Protection Act and the Abortion Non-Discrimination Act.

President Bush promoted and signed the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, which protects all infants born alive, including those who survive abortion.

The Bush Administration’s representatives to the United Nations and to UN meetings and conferences have fought repeated efforts to establish an international right to abortion.

President Bush promoted and signed the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act, which bans the use of the gruesome partial-birth abortion procedure.

President Bush supported and signed into law the Unborn Victims of Violence Act, which recognizes unborn children as victims of violent federal crimes.

President Bush has stopped $34 million of tax dollars from going to the United Nation Population Fund because their support for China’s policy of coercive abortion and forced sterilization violated the Kemp-Kasten amendment which prohibits giving U.S. “population assistance” funds to “any organization or program which, as determined by the President of the United States, supports or participates in the management of a program of coercive abortion or involuntary sterilization.”

The Bush administration was a major reason for the passage of a recent declaration on human cloning by the United Nations which urges governments to ban all human cloning.

President Bush also supports legislation to protect the right of parents to be notified before a minor undergoes an abortion in a state other than her state of residence.  The Child Custody Protection Act would make it a federal crime to  take a minor across state lines for a secret abortion, in violation of the parents’ right to be notified beforehand.

Bush has addressed participants at the March for Life via telephone and declares the Sunday nearest to the anniversary of Roe v. Wade to be National Sanctity of Human Life Day every year.

Democrats for Life of America, Inc. is a national organization

for prolife members of the Democratic party.

Their Mission

Democrats for Life of America exists to foster respect for life, from the beginning of life to natural death. This includes, but is not limited to, opposition to abortion, capital punishment, and euthanasia. Democrats for Life of America is one of over 200 member organizations of Consistent Life: an international network for peace, justice and life.

What They Do

They mobilize Democrats at local, state, and national levels to:

  • elect prolife Democrats to office
  • support prolife Democrats while in an elected position
  • promote a prolife plank in the Democratic Party platform
  • achieve prolife legislation with the help of national and state prolife democrats
  • participate actively in Democratic party functions and offices

Prolife Democrats must insist on a consistent ethic and must insist that they be allowed to take their rightful place in the party.

The Democrats for Life and Feminists for Life organizations are proof that all people can and should be prolife. It is consistent with the root principles of both the Democratic Party and the feminist movement to respect life and to encourage the development of everyone's full potential. Freedom and equality are unattainable if there is not first life.

How You Can Help . . .

Pray that the right to life for all persons will be restored and protected.

Become informed on prolife issues in our country so you can talk with others about the prolife message. Talk to your family, friends and co-workers. Many are unaware of the basic facts of abortion:

  • Abortion is legal in the United States during the WHOLE nine months of pregnancy
  • An abortion can be performed for ANY reason
  • Every 4th baby dies in our country from abortion
  • An unborn child is sensitive to sound, touch, heat, light, and PAIN
  • Many women suffer from post abortion depression, regret, and guilt

Let others know how you feel - write letters to the editors of newspapers, attend rallies, Focus on Life Dinners, conventions and vigils.

Write to your State and Federal Representatives and Senators to inform them of your prolife views and concerns. Politicians will go with the majority. We can't be the silent majority.

Together we are making a difference!
